Retrospective Exhibition

The Haáz Rezső Museum, together with the Liszt Institute in Sfântu Gheorghe, is organizing the András Kós Retrospective Exhibition on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the sculptor’s birth.
The exhibition material consists largely of works donated by the artist to the Reformed Church on Kogălniceanu Street, complemented by a few essential pieces for presenting his artistic work as a whole, borrowed from various public institutions and private collections. The merit of the exhibition is that, in addition to the more well-known artistic portrait of András Kós, it also highlights lesser-known motifs and aspects of his career through various artworks, objects, and archival photographs.
The exhibition is accompanied by a trilingual catalog, edited by Katalin Kós and Zsuzsanna Szebeni, with texts signed by the authors Ágota Portik Blénessy and Zsuzsanna Szebeni.

The exhibition can be visited until February 24, 2025.
